Our client is seeking to recruit a a hands-on, motivated, and mission-driven Project & Program Manager to lead our programmes for children, young people, and families across Mauritius.
The Project & Program Manager ensures the effective planning, implementation, monitoring and improvement of all company's programmes.
Responsibilities:
Programme Strategy & Planning:
- Translate strategic plans into annual plans and budgets.
- Support National Director with evidence-based decision-making.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day programme operations.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of activities.
Donor Management:
- Manage EU, Luxembourg, Iceland and corporate-funded projects.
- Produce narrative & financial reports.
- Ensure procurement, compliance and audit readiness.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
- Lead indicators tracking and dashboards.
- Produce quarterly and annual reports.
Safeguarding & Compliance:
- Implement safeguarding standards and risk frameworks.
Staff Leadership:
- Supervise programme coordinators and project officers.
Financial Oversight:
- Align spending with budgets in collaboration with Finance.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- 5–7 years experience in programme/project management.
- Experience with institutional donors preferred.
- Strong reporting, communication and coordination skills.
- Practical, solution-driven leadership.
