Promote a professional and positive image to all of our guests and contribute to the hotels targets by providing and coordinating a rapid response to relevant employee requests, inquiries, needs and general staff welfare

 

 

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update both manual and digital employee records, HR policies, procedures and all related personnel documents.

    • Handle daily HR administrative duties and ensure smooth departmental operations.

    • Work closely with all departments in a consultative capacity, supporting line managers in understanding and applying HR policies and procedures.

    • Liaise with stakeholders on key areas such as performance management, health & safety, and employee relations.

    • Manage the full end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including preparing job descriptions and specifications, drafting job adverts, screening applications, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.

    • Develop and implement HR policies covering working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.

    • Administer payroll and maintain accurate employee records at all times.

    • Monitor and record all types of employee leave meticulously.

    • Handle employee grievances and apply disciplinary procedures in line with company policies and legal guidelines.

    • Organise and deliver training initiatives, including onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.

    • Assess training needs in collaboration with departmental managers.

    • Maintain comprehensive and compliant staff records.

    • Coordinate all training activities with external institutions and the HRDC.

    • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by Management.


    Candidate Profile

    • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management.

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar HR role, preferably within the hospitality industry.

    • Hands-on knowledge of Vipertex.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.

    • Strong analytical abilities, initiative, and the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    • High levels of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

    • Solid understanding of employment legislation and employee relations.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.

    • Proficient in MS Office applications.

    • Fully proficient in written and spoken English and French.
