The Assistant People & Culture Manager is responsible for providing support in the various human resources and functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
The Assistant People & Culture Manager is responsible for providing support in the various human resources and functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide counseling and support on policies and procedures.
- Payroll calculation & ensuring employees receives appropriate pay and benefits.
- Ensure all administrative and transactional work associated with supporting the business is completed in a timely manner.
- Manage day to day talent acquisition activities including resource plan updates, job descriptions, advertising, interviews, references, onboarding, etc.
- Promoting equality, health and safety within the company.
- Develop and/or manage the employee benefit programs or any other employee programs, including health insurance, pension plan, vacations, bonus.
- Work with line Managers in identifying and assessing HR needs for the teams.
- Delivering compensation and benefit comparison reports to the executive team.
- Propose and manage local site HR budget, including; costs for site-wide employee related programs and activities.
- Monitor, measure and report on HR results and opportunities of development including improvement solutions.
- Work closely with leaders to improve employee work experience, reinforce engagement, increase productivity and retention.
- Support leaders and teams through the implementation of organizational change initiatives.
- Create Learning and Development programs
- Oversee disciplinary meetings, termination and investigation.
CRITERIA:
- Degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in human resources.
- Proficient in Ursula, CNP, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office applications.
- Good understanding of labor laws
