The Assistant People & Culture Manager is responsible for providing support in the various human resources and functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

 

 

The Assistant People & Culture Manager is responsible for providing support in the various human resources and functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide counseling and support on policies and procedures.
  • Payroll calculation & ensuring employees receives appropriate pay and benefits.
  • Ensure all administrative and transactional work associated with supporting the business is completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage day to day talent acquisition activities including resource plan updates, job descriptions, advertising, interviews, references, onboarding, etc.
  • Promoting equality, health and safety within the company.
  • Develop and/or manage the employee benefit programs or any other employee programs, including health insurance, pension plan, vacations, bonus.
  • Work with line Managers in identifying and assessing HR needs for the teams.
  • Delivering compensation and benefit comparison reports to the executive team.
  • Propose and manage local site HR budget, including; costs for site-wide employee related programs and activities.
  • Monitor, measure and report on HR results and opportunities of development including improvement solutions.
  • Work closely with leaders to improve employee work experience, reinforce engagement, increase productivity and retention.
  • Support leaders and teams through the implementation of organizational change initiatives.
  • Create Learning and Development programs
  • Oversee disciplinary meetings, termination and investigation.

CRITERIA:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in human resources.
  • Proficient in Ursula, CNP, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office applications.
  • Good understanding of labor laws
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solver
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Strong ethical organizational and time-management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset.
