Albert Trading Ltd., the sole distributor of Makita in Mauritius and a leading supplier of professional tools and equipment for the construction and industrial sectors, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Business Development Representative to join its Sales / Projects Department.
A Business Development Representative will identify and develop business opportunities and projects that drive the growth and profitability of the organization. They work closely with various departments, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business objectives.
The Business Development Representative will assist the Business Development Manager for driving business growth through the identification and development of new sales and project opportunities. This role involves market research, client relationship management, and successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets for project-based initiatives.
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a direct sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.
- Achieve sales targets ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Analyze sales data to forecast trends.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs and provide solutions that meet their business objectives.
- Planning and Execution:
- Planning and execution of business development projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

Profile & Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or project management, with a track record of successfully managing projects.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, CRM software).
- Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple simultaneous projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time, office and frequent travel around the island
- Located in Port Louis
- Mon to Fri: 08h30 - 17h,
- Sat: 08h30 > 13h.
- May be required to do overtime from time to time.
