The HR Officer will support all human resources functions within Dentons Mauritius LLP, ensuring smooth operations and maintain employee records, prepare HR documents, assist with payroll and leave updates, and handle general HR filing and correspondence
- Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
- Screen candidates and review potential skill sets
- Conduct reference checks on potential candidates
- Support the completion of documents, admin and post hiring recruitment acticvities as required
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Maintain accurate and up to date employee records including all employee filing
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc) where required
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources colleagues and management
- Administration of Medical Insurance
- Prepares monthly Head Count and other relevant HR reporting
- Preparing contracts for newcomers
- Liaise with the Ministry of Labour, recruitment agencies, EDB and an other appropriate 3rd party relevant to HR operations when required
- Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and labour laws; update HR data, reports, and records for audits;
- Assist in the organisation of Welfare ctivities;
- Coordinate with external partners (insurers, training bodies, recruiters) and assist in employee engagement activities or any other HR-related tasks as needed;
- Any other cognate duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Human Resources Executive
