Executive Assistant to the General Manager — Based in Mauritius

Provide comprehensive executive, administrative, and operational support to the General Manager in Mauritius, facilitating communication, project coordination, and local business operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative and Clerical Support:

    • Efficiently manage the General Manager’s schedule, meetings, business travel, and reception arrangements.

    • Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on the implementation of decisions.

  2. Communication and Coordination:

    • Serve as the primary liaison between the General Manager and local teams, headquarters, clients, and government authorities.

    • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence to ensure accurate and timely information flow.

  3. Business and Project Management:

    • Assist the General Manager with market research, data collection, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

    • Participate in project follow-up, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure smooth project execution.

    • Prepare documentation for business negotiations and support certain client meetings or receptions.

  4. Local Operations Support:

    • Be familiar with Mauritian laws, business practices, and cultural norms to provide relevant advice to the General Manager.

    • Assist in handling matters involving local government, banks, taxation, and other institutions.

    • Oversee daily office operations and provide guidance to the local administrative team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Basic Requirements:

    • Language Skills: Fluent in English (working language). Proficiency in French is a significant advantage, as both English and French are official languages in Mauritius and French is widely used in business settings. Knowledge of Chinese would be an additional asset.

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Business Administration, Foreign Languages, International Trade, Tourism Management, or other related fields.

    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant to senior management, Senior Administrative Assistant, or in a related business support role. Prior work or study experience in Africa or a French-speaking region is highly preferred.

  2. Professional Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    • Capable of independently drafting professional and well-structured business documents.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive independently.

       准备商务谈判所需的资料,并参与部分商务接待与洽谈。
       4. 本地化运营支持:
       熟悉毛里求斯当地法律法规、商业惯例及文化习俗,为总经理提供建议。
       协助处理与本地政府、银行、税务及相关机构的事务。
       管理办公室的日常运营,包括对本地行政团队的指导。

任职要求:

       1. 硬性条件:
       语言能力:流利掌握中文(母语水平)和英语(商务工作语言)。具备流利的法语能力是巨大优势,因毛里求斯官方语言包含英语和法语,且法语在商业环境中广泛应用。
       教育背景: 本科及以上学历,商务管理、外语、国际贸易、旅游管理等相关专业优先。
       工作经验:具备3年及以上总经理助理、高级行政助理或相关商务岗位经验。有海外工作或留学经验者,尤其是在非洲或法属地区者优先。
       2. 专业技能:
       熟练使用Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook等。
       能够独立撰写专业、得体的商务文件。
       能有效管理复杂日程和多线程任务。
