Job Purpose
As a stock controller, the person shall oversee the management, purchase and replenishment of goods to ensure efficient maintenance of stock levels.

As a stock controller, the person shall oversee the management, purchase and replenishment of goods to ensure efficient maintenance of stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff, as well as the sales and finance departments.
- Ensure that regulation of in-stock level complies with inventory parameters.
- Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels.
- Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain.
- Oversee the functionality of electronic ordering systems and POS systems.
- Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labeling.
- Ensure that stock management operations are carried out in line with set procedures.
- Conduct assessment of supply chain to identify risks and develop solutions useful in minimizing losses.
- Ensure purchase inventory is within specified budget; readily notify Management when budget is exceeded.
- Produce reports on a timely basis which shall help Management to take decisions.
- Conducting risk assessments and providing appropriate recommendations.
- Ensuring that all stock and Health & Safety procedures are implemented and followed.
- Performing random checks and audits.
Job Requirements
- Diploma Holder
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Punctual with strong attendance history
- High organization skills with attention to details
- Strong computer skills
- Any other cognate duties.
