Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within target markets and sectors.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to develop strategies for market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, calls, and presentations.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs as defined by management.
Technical Product Promotion
- Present and demonstrate technical products and solutions to potential clients.
- Understand and explain the technical specifications and applications of products, including chemical formulations, industrial use-cases, and safety guidelines.
- Provide technical support and advice during product trials and onboarding phases.
Customer Needs Assessment- Understand clients’ technical challenges and offer product solutions that address their specific needs.
- Conduct site visits and needs analyses in coordination with the technical and product teams.
- Recommend modifications or custom solutions based on customer feedback and operational requirements.
Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare and present quotes, tenders, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules in line with company policies.
- Follow up on quotations and ensure the closing of deals.
Customer Support & Relationship Management
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing post-sale technical support.
- Coordinate with customer service, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely and satisfactory delivery.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints or product-related issues professionally.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and technical issues.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Update CRM systems and contribute to forecasting and budget planning.
Product Knowledge & Training
- Continuously update knowledge on product developments, innovations, and regulatory requirements.
- Attend training sessions, trade shows, and industry events to stay informed.
- Provide feedback from the field to product development teams for continuous improvement.
Perform any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing or industrial chemicals.
