Archemics Ltd is a subsidiary of Harel Mallac & Co. Ltd is recruiting an Accounts Officer.  

Responsibilities:
Payment Processing - Ensure that all payments are processed in due time. 

Payment follow-up - Monitors the timely processing of entries based on suppliers' requests for payment and statement of account.

International payment processing - Performs calculations and makes journal entries in respect of realized differences on exchange (Debtors & Creditors)

Accounting duties - Ensure that ageing does not contain negative balances. Reconciles General Ledger with Statement of Accounts on a regular basis. Investigate differences in the book of accounts and notify Finance Manager to take necessary actions. Performs any relevant duties pertaining to accounting within the deadline to always ensure the smooth running of the department.

Stock Management - Processes company's stock records 

Statutory Compliance - Deals with all legal requirements 

Administrative Duties - Provides documents to auditors after ensuring that they can be given access. Ensure that cheque books are always available by ordering new ones as and when required.

Requirements:  

  • A Higher School Certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACCA Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent) preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar position.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ethical, discreet, and professional in dealing with confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
