QBL is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment.

 

The key responsibilities and tasks will include the following:

  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans regarding all range of equipment while taking into account security and production priorities and constraints.
  • Ensure prompt trouble shooting and repairs pertaining to breakdown related to machinery and system.
  • Perform routine check on machinery inside production and perform preventive maintenance on machine to avoid breakdown.
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications.
  • Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, quality and HACCP standards while meeting maintenance performance targets.
  • Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with codes and legal regulations.
  • Ensure reporting on maintenance activity is done in a timely manner.
  • Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
  •  Ensure all Health & Safety, quality, HACCP standards and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to during implementation of projects and maintenance work.
  • Repair, modify, designs, and lay outs a variety of technical work.
  • Perform any other cognate duties related to the Production as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Management.  

What we are looking for:

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electro Technician or similar role (typically 2+ years).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, PLCs, and automation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
