Our client, a leading supplier of equipment is seeking to recruit a Head of After Sales.
The post includes managing the service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through service, parts, and accessories. Key duties involve setting strategic plans, managing teams, streamlining processes, and collaborating with other departments to enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the supervision of the Technicians (work/training/relationship etc…)
- To urgently familiarise yourself with our Eazzy software.
- Ensure good optimization of labour hours.
- Ensure proper planning for delivery / demo of equipment.
- Identify wear and tear as well as emergency spare parts.
- Responsible for ordering of spare parts for proper stock level.
- Management of warranty claims.
- Ensure cleanliness of workshop at all times and manage scrapping.
- Ensure proper use of PPE's by technicians.
- Ensure H&S procedures are respected by team.
- Respond to internal and external queries with a strong focus on customer care and provide any report if needed.
- To provide an outstanding customer service.
- Deal with requests related to technical issues (inhouse or on site).
- Deal with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs.
- Monitor and control maintenance costs.
- Provide monthly reports as per Management requests.
- Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods for Cleaning & Gardening Equipment.
- Participate in the restructuration of the department.
- Ensure profitability of the department.
- In charge of the maintenance and reporting concerning the generator/monthly RCD testing/lighting of the company and yard.
Profile:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in (will be an advantage) :
- Managing a workshop, spare parts & technical report.
- Leading a profitable service organisation & reporting.
