Position overview:

We are looking for a Sales Engineer (IT Infrastructure & Cloud Solutions) to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong sales acumen to promote and sell our full range of infrastructure solutions, including systems, cloud security, telephony among others.

The role requires excellent communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to build strong client relationships. You will work closely with the Infrastructure Business Unit, consultants, and engineers to understand client needs, design tailored solutions and ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiation and closing.
  • Work with clients to understand their business and technical requirements, providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to design and present proposals and solution demonstrations.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, RFP/RFQ responses, and solution documentation.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth of FRCI.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to position FRCI as a trusted partner.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to strengthen both technical and sales skills. 

Requirements:

Education:

  • At least a diploma/degree in Sales/IT/Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 3–5 years of proven work experience in Sales/IT/infrastructure solutions or a similar role.
  • Experience in Sales is a must for this position.
  • Familiarity with solutions such as servers, cloud services, storage, and security.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients will be an advantage.

  • Ability to understand clients pain points
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for clients.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and customer-oriented mindset.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently.
