Join Avipro Farming team to promote a strong safety culture, preventing workplace hazards, and implementing effective Health Safety & Environment policies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across poultry farming operations.
• Investigate accidents or incidents and provide detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Deliver training programs and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness among staff.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, biosecurity, fire safety, and other safety protocols.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation as required by law.
• Liaise with management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on health and safety matters.
Profile:
• Diploma in OSH from the University of Mauritius or approved equivalent qualification
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Possess a valid driving license
• Self-starter, a finisher, inquisitive, positively curious, open-minded
• Able to achieve results within prescribed deadlines
• Works well with others, ability to cope with pressure, excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and safety management systems.
