Agiliss Ltd is seeking a Customs Clerk to support logistics operations in the FMCG sector. The role involves handling import procedures, coordinating with authorities, and ensuring timely clearance and tracking of containers.
Key Responsibilities:
Physical verification of containers at port with relevant authorities
Initiate fumigation procedures as per regulatory requirements
Process payments for landing and demurrage
Prepare sales invoices in SAP for Agiliss (transport and unstuffing charges) and for external customers
Submit clearance requests to NPPO, MOH, and Fisheries Department
Update container tracking systems (Navis)
Share daily container arrival planning with relevant departments
Follow up on containers until return to depot
Requirements:
Experience in customs or logistics, preferably in the FMCG sector
Knowledge of clearance procedures and coordination with authorities
Proficiency in SAP and container tracking systems (e.g. Navis)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid Driving Licence
