The United Basalt Products Ltd is seeking a dedicated and motivated QHSE Coordinator to join the team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Integrated Management Systems (ISO standards).
  •  Support in unifying departmental processes and reducing redundancy.
  •  Help operationalize quality principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  •  Participate in gap analysis and follow up on corrective actions.
  •  Contribute to audit readiness and ISO certification processes.
  •  Promote system discipline and support QHSE culture across departments.
  •  Assist in organizing training and awareness programs.
  •  Support risk assessments, incident investigations, and action plan tracking.
  •  Prepare reports and dashboards for management review.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement QHSE strategies and improvements.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production and Operations Management or Engineering or Occupational Safety and Health Management or any other relevant qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc Total Quality Management) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the QHSE field, ideally within an ISO-certified company.
  • Basic understanding of ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control systems.
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation.
  •  Adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Holder of a valid driving licence is essential
