We are a German-affiliated company (Werttax Immobilienbewertung GmbH) specializing in property valuation and market research. Our international branch in Mauritius supports real estate agents and valuation professionals in Germany through proprietary software tools and market data analysis. Our team handles high-impact, real-world data that directly supports valuations, investments and decision making in the German real estate market, and we are now looking to grow our team in Mauritius.
Role Overview
Join us as a Data Analyst (Junior level), where you’ll contribute directly to property market research and valuation support. You will work with translated datasets and internal tools, collaborating closely with a small team to meet evolving requests from our German partners. VBA knowledge is required for this role.
This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in data analysis and real estate valuation, with full onboarding and long-term development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, structure, and validate German property market data using internal tools
- Analyze datasets and prepare outputs to support valuation and investment decisions
- Write, debug, and maintain VBA-based tools to automate reporting and processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of results
- Participate in short agile workflows (2–3 weeks), contributing to task planning and strategy discussions
- Adapt to varied day-to-day tasks, balancing analytical work with operational support
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that extend beyond standard data analysis
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
OR at least 1 year of relevant work experience in data analysis with a strong programming background
- Solid understanding of Excel and VBA; ability to think beyond formulas and design automation solutions
- Critical thinking and adaptability in rapidly changing task structures
- Interest in long-term development in data analysis and real estate valuation
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a small, collaborative environment
- German language skills are a plus, but not required (all tools and documentation are available in English)
- Experience with Python, C#, web development or any programming languages is an advantage but not mandatory·
