Job Responsibilties:
- Welcome guests, take orders, serve food and beverage as per Hotel standards and procedure;
- Set up tables and working area as per Hotel standards and procedure;
- Dispatch daily tasks, allocate working area to other Chefs de Rang and subordinates and ensure all tasks have been achieved before closing, and/or assist in such dispatch or allocation;
- Maintain and upkeep cleanliness of working areas and all equipment and material.
Candidate Profile:
- School Certificate or equivalent;
- A NC Level 3 or 4 in Restaurant & Bar Services from Mauritius Institute of Training and Development or equivalent;
- Previous working experience;
- Good communication skills and organisational ability;
- Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
- Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
- Should be well discipline, serious, reliable and fully committed to the job;
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
