The Assistant F&B Manager supports team leadership, coordinates service standards, and helps drive business performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations across all F&B outlets (fine dining, casual dining, in-room dining, bar, banquet, lounge, etc.).
Conduct daily briefings and ensure SOP compliance, mise-en-place readiness, and service consistency.
Monitor outlet performance against SOPs, and brand standards using internal and external audit frameworks (e.g., LQA, Forbes)
Ensure real-time coordination between service, culinary, stewarding, and events teams for seamless guest experience delivery.
Supervise and coach supervisors, captains, and team members; drive performance appraisals and succession planning.
Implement training matrices and track progress on technical skills, behavioral standards, and cross-training initiatives.
Enforce departmental discipline, grooming standards, and health & safety compliance.
Support budget planning, P&L reviews, and cost-control strategies.
Resolve guest concerns and special requests promptly and professionally.
Assist with procurement tracking, inventory variance, stock rotation, and waste control.
Act on behalf of the F&B Manager in their absence.
Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a luxury F&B environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/assistant managerial capacity.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication - Fluency in English; knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
Team Oriented
