QBL is looking for a talented IT Digital Solution Manager to lead and oversee all technology-related functions within our organization.
What you will be doing:
Strategy & projects
- Lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s IT strategy, aligning it with business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data management systems.
- Provide technical direction and leadership for IT initiatives, ensuring that the company’s technology infrastructure supports its current and future needs.
- Lead IT-related projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Oversee the IT department’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost-effective investments in new technologies.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders to define digital transformation priorities.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
- Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols, ensuring the safety and security of the company’s data and systems. Monitor for threats and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
Compliance & Regulations:
- Ensure the organisation complies with relevant regulations and industry standards, including data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
- Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support the company's growth objectives.
Stakeholders Management:
- Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party technology vendors, ensuring the company receives optimal service, cost-efficiency, and value from external partners.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Facilitate workshops and training to ensure successful adoption of new tools and platforms.
- Work closely with other department heads and senior leadership to ensure IT solutions support organizational needs and improve overall business performance.
What are we looking for?
Tertiary Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management position, with proven experience managing large-scale IT operations and teams.
Skills:
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and systems management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with IT budgeting and resource management.
- Solid understanding of IT project management methodologies
- Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
