Our client, a leader in digital transformation, is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect with 7–10 years of proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale, cloud-native distributed systems.
You’ll be the go-to expert for building robust digital platforms, managing remote development teams, and driving cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategies on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end architecture for high-performance, scalable applications and distributed systems.
- Define system objectives, constraints (performance, scalability, security), and integration points.
- Lead data strategy, system modeling, information flow design, and implementation planning.
- Evaluate and select the most suitable technologies, frameworks, tools, and platforms.
- Lead the full lifecycle of software engineering projects—from architecture through to deployment.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure architectural consistency and scalability.
- Mentor and coach developers on system design, technology stacks, and best practices.
- Document technical specifications and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Team Management & Collaboration
- Manage and support a remote team of Java developers.
- Oversee task allocation, monitor performance, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and issue tracking via JIRA.
- Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
- Take ownership of AWS infrastructure components (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, ELB, S3).
- Oversee code repositories and workflows in GitHub.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-native architectures, serverless design, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency with the AWS ecosystem and related services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Solid grasp of container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS), event-driven design, and messaging systems.
- Experience with AWS cost optimization, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to lead and manage remote development teams in Agile environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 7–10 years of proven experience in software architecture and development.
- Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
