We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Trade Clerk to support our trade and logistics operations team. It involves preparing and verifying trade documentation, coordinating with suppliers and shipping agents, tracking shipments, and ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations.
The Trade Clerk provides administrative and clerical support in managing trade-related operations, including processing trade documentation, coordinating with suppliers and clients, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of import/export procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process trade and shipping documents (invoices, customs declarations, contracts).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, and clients for smooth operations.
- Track orders and shipment schedules, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate trade records and filing systems.
- Support reporting and administrative tasks for the trade department.
- Proven ability to manage priorities under challenging conditions
- Comfortable handling high-volume tasks efficiently
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and trade documentation preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Conditions:
- Working hours: 45hrs including Saturday till noon
- Salary as per experience
- May require overtime during peak trade activity periods.
