Our client is looking for a Junior Application Support Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide first line support to application users to ensure that the business application systems supported by the Project Management Services division (PMS) are maintained to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of attainable productivity and efficiency.
2. Maintain helpdesk support system;
3. Prepare daily Helpdesk reporting;
4. Provide support for application configuration and upgrades;
5. Assist with implementation of projects and provide technical input where required;
6. Assist in monthly patch testing;
7. Assess application functionality and performance and provide information about how it can be improved.
8. Undertake any other duties of a similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A level qualification (with Computer Science as Main Subject);
- A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or similar would be an advantage;
- Ability to manage code migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
- Ability to keep up with innovation in application design.
- Exceptional communication skills.
