We are looking for a Marketing Manager for our Hotels & Leisure clusters to join our Marketing department based at our Head Office in Mapou.
Overview of the Role:
In this role, you will spearhead and continuously refine the marketing vision for Heritage Resorts, Veranda Resorts, and our Leisure cluster, blending data-driven insight, AI, and imaginative storytelling to elevate the guest experience, strengthen brand equity, and accelerate revenue growth across our portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies aligned with business goals, occupancy targets, and revenue performance.
- Use customer data platforms and analytics to segment audiences, personalize communication, and improve customer lifecycle value.
- Leverage AI tools for trend prediction, sentiment analysis, and tailored content creation to elevate marketing effectiveness and brand relevance.
- Champion the customer experience (CX) by mapping guest touchpoints and improving engagement across pre-stay, in-stay, and post-stay phases.
- Design and roll out impactful brand experiences and promotional campaigns across resorts, ensuring consistency with brand values.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to develop commercial strategies and integrated activations.
- Monitor guest feedback and online reviews to assess perceived value, identify improvement areas, and refine positioning accordingly.
- Lead creative development and execution of marketing materials, digital assets, and omni-channel content strategies.
- Develop and promote experiential products (e.g. golf, eco-tourism, Bel Ombre leisure) to increase guest participation and revenue capture.
- Support digital initiatives including hotel mobile app and e-concierge platforms to drive upselling and guest convenience.
- Stay ahead of market trends through competitor benchmarking, price-value analysis, and regular insight reporting.
- Promote the resort’s eco-luxury positioning=, ensuring marketing aligns with sustainability initiatives and innovation (e.g. NFTs, green experiences).
Candidate's Profile:
- Core Qualification: Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced certifications (e.g., CIM) are a distinct advantage.
- Experience: 5-7 years in strategic marketing, with a proven track record of success in the hospitality or luxury brand sector. Demonstrable experience in a leadership or managerial capacity is essential.
- Data-Driven Strategist: Expertise in leveraging Customer Data Platforms (CDP), CRM, and analytics tools to drive strategy.
- AI & Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience using AI-powered marketing tools for trend prediction, content personalization, and campaign optimization. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms is required.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to analyse market trends, competitor positioning, and guest feedback to make informed, data-driven decisions that impact revenue and brand perception.
- Creative & Communication Skills: Exceptional creative abilities to guide the development of compelling brand narratives and campaigns. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership & Project Management: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, and control budgets effectively.
