Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is on the lookout for a passionate and meticulous Safety & Healthy Officer to join our Head Office team in Curepipe.

Main responsibilities:

•Monitor compliance with OSHA standards and hospitality-specific safety guidelines.
•Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, drills, and internal audits within assigned Business Units.
•Participate in cross-audits and drills across Beachcomber BUs.
•Lead training sessions and awareness campaigns on safety, health, and emergency preparedness for Artisans.
•Manage Incident Management Standards through the investigation of incidents and near-misses, make recommendations for corrective and preventive actions, and conduct trend analysis.
•Collaborate with Management to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
•Maintain up-to-date safety documentation, records, and standard procedures.
•Promote and sustain a strong culture of Safety throughout Beachcomber.
•Take the lead on safety-related projects and initiatives, ensuring operational alignment.

Qualifications and profile:

•At least 2 years of experience in a Safety and Health role, preferably in the hospitality sector.
•BSc in Occupational Safety and Health.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead across departments.
•Detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-focused with a proactive mindset.
