The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, continuous development, and ongoing support of our Sage X3 ERP system.

This role requires a deep understanding of Sage X3 functionalities, business processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. The Analyst will work closely with various departments to optimize and enhance our ERP system, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.

 Key Responsibilities:

• System Analysis & Design:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for Sage X3 enhancements, customizations, and new module implementations.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Design and document solutions within the Sage X3 framework, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Functional Development & Customization:
  • Develop and customize Sage X3 objects, including screens, windows, tables, and workflows using Sage X3 development tools (e.g., 4GL, Safe X3 Development Toolkit).
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, inquiries, and dashboards using tools like Crystal Reports, Sage Intelligence, or other integrated reporting solutions.
  • Configure and manage Sage X3 modules (e.g., Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, CRM) to meet business requirements.
• Implementation & Integration:
  • Participate in all phases of Sage X3 projects, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and manage integrations between Sage X3 and other business applications.
• System Support & Maintenance:
  • Provide ongoing functional and technical support for Sage X3 users, troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions.
  • Perform system administration tasks, including user management, security configuration, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage patches, updates, and upgrades of the Sage X3 system in coordination with IT infrastructure teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and procedures.
• Process Improvement & Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations within Sage X3.
  • Proactively recommend solutions to enhance system performance, user experience, and business efficiency.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer:
  • Develop and deliver training materials for end-users on Sage X3 functionalities and best practices.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members or super users.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Sage X3 Application Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Developer.
• Proven experience with Sage X3 architecture, development tools (4GL, Safe X3), and customization capabilities.
• Strong understanding of core Sage X3 modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing – specify which are most critical for your business).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Sage Intelligence, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Sage X3 certification(s).
• Experience with specific Sage X3 version V12.
• Knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST) and API integrations.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with business process re-engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
