We are currently seeking a Color Retoucher to join our team based at our Vacoas-Phoenix studio here in Mauritius. Please be advised that this is a hybrid working role, with your time split between home working and our studio.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in converting images into color correct, print ready images, along with producing accurate proofs for client approval. The ideal candidate will of course possess experience gained within a artworking, print or repro environment - however if you have experience gained in other areas of creative design, where an eye for details is a must, we would also be delighted to hear from you.

 

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Convert images received into colour correct, production ready images for use in any media environment.
  • Manage multi layered PSD’s containing multiple Layer sets and file management
  • Produce colour accurate proofs for client approval
  • Over time, mentor new & junior staff, provide training to less experienced team members
  • Ensure line and traffic managers are kept informed of the progress of jobs, and any potential impact to production plan
  • Develop and update master artworks and guideline documentation.

 

 

You will have:

 

  • Experience using Adobe CS packages
  • A keen eye for color and color matching skills
  • Knowledge of artwork, pre-press and repro procedures
  • Experience of artwork creation and manipulation to a high standard
  • Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills for daily interaction with account management / traffic team
