Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily operations within our printing and label production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal efficiency, product quality, timely deliveries, and strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the entire production process for label printing and finishing operations.
• Ensure production targets, deadlines, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Manage and optimize resources, including workforce, materials, and equipment.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure all machinery operates efficiently.
• Monitor production costs and strive to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Uphold strict health, safety, and environmental standards within the production facility.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate production reports, KPIs, and documentation.
• Liaise with other departments (Sales, Logistics, Procurement) to ensure seamless operations.
• Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and innovation within the production line.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in the printing, packaging, or labelling sector.
• Technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial Production, Printing Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality management systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with printing machinery, materials, and label production processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyse data, manage KPIs, and make operational decisions.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (EXCEL a must) and production management tools.
