We are recruiting for our client a driver – Tourism sector

 

 Job Summary

As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting tourists from the airport to hotels, and to various excursion destinations across the island. The role is based on a shift system, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on flight and tour schedules.

Key Responsibilities

                     Safely transport tourists to and from the airport, hotels, and excursion sites.

                     Assist clients with luggage handling and provide a warm welcome upon arrival.

                     Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle at all times.

                     Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to itinerary.

                     Follow scheduled routes and adapt to last-minute changes.

                     Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly to the operations team.

                     Provide basic local information and guidance to guests if required.

                     Ensure compliance with road safety and traffic regulations.

 

Requirements

                     Valid Mauritian driver’s license (minimum category B; additional categories an asset).

                     Proven experience as a driver, preferably in the tourism or hospitality sector.

                     Good knowledge of the island’s routes and major tourist destinations.

                     Ability to work flexible hours on a rotating shift schedule.

                     Professional appearance and good communication skills in English and French.

                     Courteous, punctual, and customer-service oriented.

                     Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.

 

Advantages

                     Experience working in a tourism-related role.

                     Multilingual skills (Creole, English, French, or other languages).
