We are recruiting for our client a driver – Tourism sector

 Job Summary

As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting tourists from the airport to hotels, and to various excursion destinations across the island. The role is based on a shift system, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on flight and tour schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•                     Safely transport tourists to and from the airport, hotels, and excursion sites.

•                     Assist clients with luggage handling and provide a warm welcome upon arrival.

•                     Maintain a clean and well-presented vehicle at all times.

•                     Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to itinerary.

•                     Follow scheduled routes and adapt to last-minute changes.

•                     Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly to the operations team.

•                     Provide basic local information and guidance to guests if required.

•                     Ensure compliance with road safety and traffic regulations.

Requirements

•                     Valid Mauritian driver’s license (minimum category B; additional categories an asset).

•                     Proven experience as a driver, preferably in the tourism or hospitality sector.

•                     Good knowledge of the island’s routes and major tourist destinations.

•                     Ability to work flexible hours on a rotating shift schedule.

•                     Professional appearance and good communication skills in English and French.

•                     Courteous, punctual, and customer-service oriented.

•                     Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
