Beachcomber Catering is currently hiring a motvated & reliable Chef for Bakery/Pastry.

 

Main responsibilities:

•Prepare a wide range of pastries, breads and desserts for Inflight and Inland catering menus,

•Follow recipes and production schedules to meet daily and bulk order requirements,

•Ensure consistency, portion control and adherence to presentation guidelines,

•Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished goods,

•Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with HACCP and company policies, 

•Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and pastry production areas.

 

Profile & Qualifications:

•NC4 or other relevant certificates/Diploma from the Hotel School or any other recognized institutions.

•Computer literate

•At least 2 years of experience as Chef Level in Hotels and Catering business.

•Having good communication skills and customer oriented.

•Be conversant with HACCP requirements to ensure compliance thereof at work.

•Be prepared to work on a flexible roster of 6/1 mostly evening shifts and to be able to work on Sundays, Public Holidays and Cyclonic Days.
