Are you a driven sales professional with expertise in financial lines insurance and a passion for client engagement?

Our client, a well-established risk management and insurance firm, is looking to appoint a Financial Lines Sales Consultant to join their expanding team in the north of Mauritius. This is a client-facing role where you’ll focus on developing and servicing a portfolio that includes Professional Indemnity (PI), Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability, and Cyber Crime Insurance.

You will play a key role in generating new business, offering technical sales support, and ensuring clients receive tailored insurance solutions in collaboration with the underwriting and claims teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities in the financial lines segment

  • Provide consultative, solution-driven advice to existing clients and prospects

  • Stay informed on industry developments, legislation, and market trends across D&O, PI, and Cyber Insurance

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with management companies, corporate clients, SMEs, and professional firms

  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and internal support teams to ensure excellent service delivery

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong technical knowledge of D&O Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Cyber Crime Insurance

  • Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Self-starter who thrives in an independent role and is goal-oriented

  • Fluency in English is required; French is highly advantageous and may open opportunities for other roles within the company

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as required

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected player in the financial lines insurance space and contribute to their strategic growth across Mauritius.
