Preskil Island Resort is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Handyperson to join our Maintenance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the resort’s facilities to the highest quality, safety, and guest satisfaction standards.

• Assist in the general maintenance and repair of resort facilities, guest rooms, and public areas.

• Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks as directed.

• Perform routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and resolve issues.

• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and work orders from guests and departments.

• Support preventive maintenance schedules to ensure longevity and safety of resort equipment and infrastructure.

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and ensure proper storage after use.

• Keep maintenance logs and report any major repair needs to supervisors.

• Assist in setting up and dismantling furniture or equipment for events or seasonal changes.

• Ensure all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and hazard-free at all times.

• Comply with health and safety regulations and resort policies.

• Provide support to other departments when required, especially during high-occupancy periods.

• Maintain a courteous and professional attitude toward guests and colleagues.
