Perform routine analysis of cane, juices, sugar intermediate products and effluents

Participate in verification of factory flowmeters and balance scales

Assist in stock taking of process materials followed by their analysis

Ensure proper sample collection at regular intervals in a systematic way

Ensure proper biocide application with specified dosage

Prepare lab reagents before start of crop and when required

Compile test results on PC and prepare lab input data for daily report

Analyse raw material, process and intermediate products at different stages of manufacture

Analyse byproducts: final molasses, bagasse, filter cake ensuring conformity 

Analyse input chemicals – lime, caustic solution, phosphoric acid and perform bench test

Assist the Chemist in stock take/inventory of Lab chemicals, items and equipment

Ensure compliance to safety procedures and regulations

Maintain good housekeeping of the Laboratory, including instruments, equipment, work area, shelves
