Trainee Engineer- Electrical or Electronic

Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to and Assist HOD.
• Supply feedback on job progress.                                      
• Assist in preparing of material schedules and requisitions and follow up orders so that no delays are incurred because of material delays.
• Ensure all works are being executed as per specifications and drawing.       
• Provide QS with any information which could be used for claims e.g., Change of scope of works.
• Assist in perform inspection and quality control / Audit on installation work.
• Attending and contributing to project meetings with HOD (internal and external).
• Working with the Draughtsman team to prepare and produce drawings.
• Site inspections and surveys.
• Control the safety of personnel on site by ensuring that the correct safety equipment, clothing and PPE are worn.
• Prepare Programme of Works and ensure proper follow up for timely realisation of projects.
• Assist the HOD in achieving the optimal cost, schedule and quality equilibrium on projects.
• Ensure proper progress of project through supervision.
• Prepare O&M Manuals and other related handing over documents.
• Encourage and participate in teamwork.
• Work in collaboration with the tendering team for the preparation of tenders and quotations.
• Carry out any other cognate duties as may be assigned by management.
