Professional Registered Electrical Engineer

General inspection on equipment to ensure conformance to relevant standards and safety requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards.
• Monitor installation activities on site.
• Perform inspection and quality control / Audit on installation work.
• Carry out visual inspections on complete equipment to ensure conformance to relevant standards, design and safety requirements and specifications.
• Focus on green / sustainable / smart technological engineering designs.
• Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects.
• Track performance and analyse short and long-terms objectives.
• Ensuring professional standards are maintained for all activities.
• Develop and promote technical best practice and research and development of methods and tools.
• Prepare and follow up on technical proposals.
• Support project teams in delivering the project to the highest standards as per the requirements.

Requirements:

• Registered professional engineer with at least 2 years post registration.
• Leadership traits / Self motivator / Proactive / Team Player.

IT skills

• AutoCAD,MS office, MS Project etc.
