Senior Accountant

Our client in the freight industry is looking for a Senior Accountant.

The Candidate is expecting to perform various responsibilities on time, providing transparent and full reports to management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and allocate the work of the accounting section to ensure that all tasks are completed within prescribed timescales
• Finalization of the forecasted Cash Flow weekly basis
• Perform Bank Reconciliation for all bank accounts before closure of the monthly financial accounts
• Preparation/Review of Management Accounts
• Preparation of Budget and forecast
• Preparation of Financial Statements with IFRS requirement
• Review Computation of MRA Submissions (VAT and TDS Computation)
• Fixed Asset Register Maintenance
• IB Payments Approval & Petty Cash Approval
• Posting Of Entries done by Accounts Officer in SLOI and LIDF on Accounting System.
• Finalise the computation of Entries for Freelance Staffs
• Monthly Salary Control entries Via Journal on Accounting System
• Internal allocation of Debtors and creditors related to operation files
• Processing of the Credit Card and Fleetman Card Entries on Accounting Software
• Review each month General Ledger such as provision, prepayment, depreciation accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Oversee the planning and management of the annual audit. Engaging with the Audit Partners for queries and the finalisation of the Financial Statements
• Filling of CTX Return.
• Liaise with the company Secretary for the resolutions of the filling of annual returns

Profile

Degree or at least ACCA level 2

Understanding of accounting and financial skills and laws, as well as good computer, verbal, and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented, professional, and analytical .

Strong presentation abilities and effectively explain complicated quantitative facts to decision makers.
