Duties and responsibilities:
- Register and keep data bases updated and online for external inspections (assist preparation of inspection of vessel, share best practices, actions and answers);
- Ensure documentation and certificates up to date;
- Maintain close relationship with Class societies, Flags;
- Assist for the good development of levels of OSM as per BOURBON’s plan;
- Follow and register Referent Masters planning and answer to Operations Managers’ needs;
- Follow expectations activities of the fleet and report;
- Assist the Operations Managers in answering to marketing department for new tenders;
- Prepare and propose with the Operations Director any communication to share best practices;
- Assist the Operations Managers upon approval of the Operations Director for day-to-day activities in case of extra work and vacations;
- Perform other cognate duties as may be required.
The Operations Coordinator reports hierarchically to the Fleet Director and functionally to Operations Managers.
Your profile:
- Hold a degree in Business Administration and/or alternate relevant qualification;
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in similar position and have a sound exposure in multi-national company;
- Knowledge of marine industry and/or oil and gas industry will be a plus (STCW, MLC 2006, flags, etc.);
- Sound organizational skills and able to manage priorities;
- Dynamic and polyvalent and you have excellent communication and customer-service skills;
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and to think and act quickly under pressure;
- Willing to work autonomously and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment;
- Have good knowledge of MS Office especially excel;
- A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
