Trade coordinator / Import export / Supply chain coordinator

Seeking a bilingual Trade Coordinator to manage import/export operations in the food industry. Responsibilities include logistics coordination, compliance, and business development support. Requires 5+ years’ experience, strong Excel and trade knowledge, and fluency in French and English.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Trade Coordinator to manage import/export operations and support business development in the food commodity sector. Acting as the main liaison between our company, suppliers, shippers, and clients, this role ensures efficient trade execution and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end trade operations, including documentation, shipping coordination, and customs compliance

• Support Traders and Business Development Managers with current and new business opportunities

• Communicate with clients and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery

• Negotiate with logistics providers and implement cost-effective supply chain strategies

• Monitor logistics performance and inventory planning

Qualifications:

• Bilingual: French and English

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

• 5+ years of import/export experience, preferably in perishables

• Strong knowledge of trade regulations, INCOTERMS, and logistics systems

• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with numbers and foreign currencies

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
