Technician/ Supervisor (Taylor Smith Equipment Ltd)

Technician/Supervisor monitor and does installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair work conducted by technicians.

Requirements:

• To perform regular servicing, maintenance, and repair work on lift trucks
• To work with hydraulic systems, maintaining electrical systems, and checking for structural problems
• To develop and follow a scheduled for preventive maintenance and plan for all machines
• Troubleshooting issues on equipment
• Must be hands-on
• Planning & Organising without Supervision
• Should be able to work in a team and individually as well
• Maintain inventory of spare parts
• General work to ensure that mechanical problems do not affect warehouse operations

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanic/Electromechanics
• Fluent in English & French (Written & Spoken)
• Driving License
• Forklift Driving license will be an advantage
• Computer Literate
• Can work on MS office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• 3 years experience in the field
• Experience in the Warehousing industry will be an advantage
