New Maurifoods Ltd, a company of the Eclosia Group, is recruiting a Supply Chain Officer. The Supply Chain Officer will report directly to the Operations & Development Manager and will oversees procurement, logistics and distribution of agricultural products.
Main Responsabilities
• Negotiate and purchase vegetables from suppliers and partner growers.
• Manage vegetable inventory in coordination with the Factory.
• Ensure purchasing at optimal prices.
• Coordinate harvest logistics and planning.
• Monitor invoicing and ensure timely payments to suppliers and partner growers.
• Plan and oversee planting cycles in collaboration with the agronomy team.
• Maintain client relationships to ensure smooth distribution of harvests and communicate upcoming volumes.
• Manage surplus stock, including resale and negotiation with traders.
• Contribute to digitalization and process improvement initiatives within the Agro team.
• Supervise and manage operational teams.
Profile
• BSc in Management or Supply Chain or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to contribute to the department’s digital transformation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Dynamic, good interpersonal, problem solving, communication & negotiation skills, pro-active and detailed oriented.
