Sales Manager

Represents the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts and on corporate segments.

As Sales Manager, you will analyse local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Develops, designs and calculates attractive offers for individual customers travel agents and companies.

- Implements sales promotion actions in respective markets (prospecting, training, sales calls).

- Organisation and management of promotions, site inspections and famtrips on respective markets.

- Plans, coordinates and implements all sales trips in respective markets by agreement with the Commercial Director.

- Ensures permanent observation of the market and competitors, involvement in drawing up analyses of competitors and statistics on respective markets.

- New acquisition of customers in all segments in respective markets.

- Organises comprehensive information to existing and potential customers as regards the product range offered by the hotel, with the aid of the relevant sales resources and sales channels

- Prepares and drawing up of company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and price conditions in respective markets.

- Plans, organises written, telephone and personal contacts with customers and supervises of these contacts in respective market.

- Ensures proper and efficient reporting

- Involvement in drawing up the Marketing / Business plans and the budget of the Hotel.

- Involvement in drawing up the sales activities plan for the Hotel.

EDUCATION

- Higher School Certificate

- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications preferred.

 EXPERIENCE

- Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotel sales.
