We are hiring a Sales Coordinator - Groups & Event to be based in Bel Ombre.

 

Overview of the Role:

The Sales Coordinator - Groups & Events supports the implementation of the commercial and sales strategy within the groups, incentives and events segment at Heritage Resorts, Bel Ombre, Chamarel and Case Noyale. The role is responsible for coordinating group events and activities, supporting revenue generation initiatives, and ensuring smooth operational follow-up for both residential and non-residential groups across the Domaine de Bel Ombre.
The position plays a key role in liaising between clients, operational teams and internal/external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of group programmes and events.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of the Groups & Incentives sales strategy and contribute to revenue growth initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and monitor trends, competitors and opportunities to support sales performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales materials, proposals and promotional tools.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of events (e.g. team buildings, weddings, gala dinners, themed evenings).
  • Prepare detailed event documentation including programmes, budgets, logistics and client requirements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Coordinate residential groups from pre-arrival planning to on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between Sales, Operations, Finance and other departments.
  • Maintain accurate records, handle correspondence and support invoicing and payment follow-up.
Candidate's Profile:
  • Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years experience in G&I & Events
  • Experience in the tourism or hotel industry is a must
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Valid driving license & own vehicle is a must
