The SHEQ Coordinator will ensure that all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality elements are implemented daily by supervising, coordinating all work systems, and ensuring that products and services meet the highest standards on a consistent basis.

 

Main Duties & Responibilities:

  • Ensure Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005 and associated legislation.
  • Be responsible for SHEQ in the Company by supervising and coordinating work systems to ensure optimum quality standards in deliverables.
  • Control, update, review and issue SHEQ documents.
  • Implement SHEQ Management system.
  • Develop a yearly training plan.
  • Shedule and carry out monthly SHEQ risk assessments and internal audits.
  • Participate actively in Safety, Health & Environment meetings.
  • Prepare for audits, safety & health requirements and quality assurance.
  • Assist in incident investigation and reporting.
Profile:
  • Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Good leadership and organisational skills
  • Computer literate
  • Holder of a valid driving licence
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Management or any other equivalent qualifications as set out in the first schedule of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005.
  • Minimum of 3 years' working experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in ISO 45001 or equivalent, will be an advantage.
