Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service, high standards, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

 

  • Conduct selection, recruitment and promotion of respective team members.                                                                     
  • Ensure that on the job training is conducted on a regular basis.                                               
  • Conduct Performance Appraisal and identify necessary training measures of respective team members.                                                                
  • Assist people development team in developing and implementing formal training plans for the department.                                                                
  • Make recommendations to Superior on team members’ matters and promotions.                                                               
  • Ensure that discipline prevails within the team and communicates any disciplinary issues to superior / HR manager.                                                                     
  • Act as a coach.                                                           
  • Coordinate & supervise activities in his/her department.                                                          
  • Always Ensure Guests’ / Repeaters’ satisfaction and be totally aware of their preferences.                                                               
  • Ensure that respective team projects a warm, professional and welcome image.                                                                     
  • Handle and monitor of guest’s complaints and the relevant follow up action required.                                                                    
  • Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relations and takes active interest in the safety & development of TM.                                                            
  • Formulating a short- and long-term Team Member work schedule. Maintaining a harmonious balance between necessary supervision and individual creativity.                                                                     
  • Participate in Eco Standard/Sustainable Responsibility set by the group.                                   
  • Set the annual operating budget and ensures that it is strictly adhered to and managed monthly.                                                                
  • Prepare and ensure that duty roster for the department is done such that there is always complete coverage and to minimize overtime costs.                                                                   
  • Follow up on punctuality, controls absenteeism and takes corrective actions where necessary.                                                                  
  • Ensure that there is a proper planning and control of annual leaves for the department.                                                               
  • Monitor and control inventories of work equipment.                                                            
  • Promote and attempt upselling.                                                                   
  • Minimize wastage.                                                                 
  • Ensure energy saving (electricity, gas, water).                                                                    
  • Ensure respective TMs are operating as per Quality Management System.                                                            
  • Ensure respective TMs are operating as per S&H regulations and policies.                                                             
  • Maintain good housekeeping in his/her department.                                                  
  • Ensure that Outlet is in good running condition.                                                                 
  • Effectively and efficiently control and supervise the day-to-day operations.                                                                     
  • Ensure proper grooming of team members as per standard.                                                                     
  • Ensure that ‘Every Customer Every Time’ standards are always adhered to by team members.                                                                    
  • Conduct ‘Every Customer Every time’ observation audits (on tablet) on a weekly basis.                                                              
  • Ensure the team members act in accordance with the ‘Promesse Client’.                                                              
  • Work in accordance with the cash handling and cashiering policies and procedures and ensure adherence thereof by team members (excludes Kitchen Managers).                                                                
  • Conduct sectional meetings with staff.                                                                    
  • Establish an effective control of the outlet.                                                              
  • Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units.                                                            
  • Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society.
