About the role:
The HR Systems Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting and maintaining the accuracy, reliability and integrity of HR data across various systems. The role involves handling escalations, managing data-related requests, and ensuring that all HR system transactions are processed in compliance with internal standards and timelines. The ideal candidate will provide strong analytical support to ensure high quality data and a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular data quality checks, identify anomalies or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to and resolve employee and manager requests related to system access, department changes, ID changes, contract changes and other HR data updates.
• Process HR data transactions (e.g., updates in organizational structure, reporting lines, and employee records) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support data audits and assist in developing data governance and validation procedures.
Key skills and competencies:
• Ability to exercise judgment in dealing with inquiries and maintaining confidentiality, knowing when to escalate to team lead.
• Capable of multi-tasking, organizing and prioritizing workload to accomplish multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
• Self-starter and go-getter, enthusiast, willingness to learn and contribute.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively with employees and managers.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable with change
• Written and verbal communication skills in English and French
• Excel proficiency
Education and Experience:
• Diploma in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Previous experience in HR Operations, HRIS or data management roles preferred.
• Experience in data auditing or reporting is a plus
