Procurement Assistant

We are looking for a Procurement Assistant to join our team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Attend daily purchase requests
  • Liaise with suppliers for best quotes
  • Prepare and maintain import file
  • Ordering process and follow up with suppliers
  • Maintain Master Data for stock codes
  • Ensure appropriate processing of all invoices in the system - SAGE X3
  • Follow up on shipment

 

Operational Tasks:

  • Keeping updated record for cost, pictures and specs of all products, for use by Sales and Marketing department.
  • To Ensure all appropriate Import and commercial documents are available for each purchase occurrence from order to pay.
  • To process a costing sheet for each purchase occurrence
  • To process Import Orders in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • HSC or above
  • 1 year experience in the field would be preferred
  • Strong negociation skills
  • Knowledge of import and export processes
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
