Portfolio Manager

 

Our client is looking for a Portfolio Manager for their company. The role of a portfolio manager is broad and diverse by nature as the needs of each entity under management varies greatly; however, the below serves as an overview of your duties.

Client Portfolio Management

  • Manage a diversified portfolio of clients, including Global Business Companies, Seychelles Companies, British Virgin Island Companies and Trusts which the potential inclusion of Authorised Companies, Mauritius Special Licence Companies and entities for other jurisdictions according to the needs of the Company.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and ongoing management of all clients under the portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, third parties, and key client contacts, serving as the primary point of contact.

Corporate, Administrative & Secretarial Responsibilities

  • Handle incorporation and deregistration procedures for clients.
  • Oversee corporate governance matters and corporate secretarial matters related to entities within the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with Mauritian company laws and Financial Services Commission (FSC) regulations.

Financial & Transactional Management

  • Assist in accounts preparation and management from a portfolio management perspective.
  • Negotiate transactions on behalf of clients.
  • Develop and manage banking relationships for client accounts.
  • Attend to all transactional matters related to the clients.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

  • Conduct compliance verification processes to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation to support regulatory compliance.

Other Duties

  • Perform any additional responsibilities as may be assigned in support of the effective operation of the portfolio and company objectives.

Training and Support

  • Attend, actively participate in and share knowledge and best practice in internal and external trainings
  • Provide training and support to other members of the company’s staff.
