Porter

Job Summary: Oceans Creek Hotel is looking for a courteous, reliable, and professional Porter to provide exceptional guest service and support hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure.

• Assist guests with luggage handling to and from rooms, vehicles, or storage areas.

• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.

• Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features if required.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.

• Assist with guest transportation arrangements, including taxis, shuttle service, or parking directions.

• Support concierge and front desk teams with guest requests and deliveries.

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues or refer them to the appropriate staff.

• Report lost and found items following hotel procedures.

• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role or in hospitality preferred.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Neat, professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.

• Good knowledge of hotel layout and local attractions.

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

• Team player with a helpful, proactive approach.

Work Environment:

• Lobby, guest rooms, and hotel entrance areas.

• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting.

• Interaction with guests from diverse backgrounds.
