We are looking for an Operations Assistant willing to build a strong relationship and career with Powersure Ltd.

 

What will be your responsibilities?

The Operations Assistant shall assist in the daily operational and administrative functions of the Generator Department and ensure smooth coordination of maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory and supporting procurement and customer service activities.

Scheduling:

  • Generate monthly preventive maintenance list from the maintenance management system and schedule monthly servicing of equipment.
  • Liaise with technical team and clients to schedule one-off servicing, repairs and installations of generators
  • Maintain servicing calendars for clients.

Spare Parts Management:

  • Maintain and update the spare parts list for preventive maintenance, track inventory levels and highlight replenishment needs.
  • Prepare and follow up on purchase orders, liaise with local suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Raise and process internal store requisitions to ensure availability of parts for maintenance.
  • Assist in forecasting maintenance needs and stock requirements to ensure operational continuity.

Call-Out Management:

  • Manage and log call-out requests, coordinate technician dispatch and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution.
  • Address client inquiries and assist in resolution of any issues or complaints.
  • Ensure documentation of technical reports and call-out summaries.

Quotations:

  • Assist in preparing maintenance and service quotations for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Operations Support:

  • Assist the supervisors/engineers in daily coordination tasks.

Who are we looking for?

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a technical or maintenance environment is an advantage
  • Good oral and written communication skills (English & French);
  • Conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making would be value added benefit.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of Accounting software – Sage 200 Evolution would be an advantage;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
