Our client a subsidiary of a well-established group, is currently seeking to recruit a dynamic Middle Office Coordinator to team up his Treasury team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Treasury, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:
- Daily follow up of the compliance of the Company’s activities in respect with Licensing conditions and Mauritian laws;
- Assist the Compliance Officer in the delivery of his statutory functions and drafting of quarterly compliance reports;
- Assist the Head of Treasury for all requests and reporting made to the Risk Committee;
- Undertake research work on the legal and regulatory framework;
- Assist in the drafting and updating of internal control policies and procedures;
- Carry out ongoing reviews on client files and agreements to ensure validity of records;
- Perform ongoing review of the Company’s client risk profile;
- Control figures and reports with the Accounting Department and report to the Management.
Profile
- Holder of a university degree in accounting, finance, economics, law, management or any other related fields;
- At least 2 years relevant work experience related to Compliance;
- At least 3 years’ experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the fields of finance, operations, compliance, risk management and internal control;
- Previous work experience in the banking industry (Corporate Finance or Treasury) is an advantage;
- Fluent in oral and written English and French;
- Able to handle pressure and prioritise to meet tight deadlines;
- High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy;
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
