RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks
- Inspect and assess vehicle air conditioning systems for functionality and leaks
- Check suspension systems for wear and tear, and recommend repairs and recommend repairs or replacements as needed
- Assess brake pads and brake fluid levels and perform brake pad replacements when necessary
- Inspect batteries for signs of wear and check battery condition; replace batteries as required
- Diagnose basic mechanical issues and provide accurate assessments to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly utilized and stored
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Certificate in automotive Mechanics or equivalent
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar position
- A valid driving license
